Variable skies and hot

The weather, currently.

Isolated but very slow moving thunderstorms have delivered flooding rain in some areas. It is all apart of a potent low pressure system parked over the region that is tapping into abundant available moisture.  Parts of Brampton recorded well over 100mm of rain, while Mississauga only saw 15mm (yesterday).  The risk of isolated downpours will continue in some areas through the evening tonight, but the core of the energy will push out through the overnight.  Local rainfall amounts in the GTA of 15-30+mm are expected.  Tuesday morning will start with a few sunny breaks and a wake up temperature near 19 degrees. The sky condition will improve as the day wears on. Expect a mix of sun and cloud with just a risk of a spotty shower for the afternoon and then clearing by late day. The high 26 feeling like 32 with the humidex.
The wind will be from the NW 15-25km/h and the UV index will be 8 or very high.
Tuesday night: mainly clear and with a low near 16 degrees.
