The weather, currently.
A much-needed soaking rain will fall across the GTA tomorrow. A ridge of high pressure will continue its exit east, allowing a cold front to move in. Thursday morning will start with light rain and a wake-up temperature near 21°C. By lunchtime, there will be some widely scattered thunderstorms developing too. Some may deliver brief downpours. (Parts of cottage country, today recorded over 25mm with some of these storm cells already). However, this will not be a continuous rain event, there will be some dry time and even a very brief sunny break is possible. The wind will be light from the SW and it will still be quite muggy, with a high of 28°C feeling like 37°C.
Thursday night: Cloudy with a few showers and a low of 20°C.
