The weather, currently.

Increasing clouds with afternoon flurries

Here comes a frigid blast! The coldest air of the season so far will move in tomorrow night. Thursday morning (Ground Hog Day) will start up under variable skies and a wake-up temperature of -7°C. The kids will once again need to bundle up as they head out to school, with a wind chill making it will feel like -16°C.

Overall the day will be bright. A mix of sun and clouds with our clouds increasing for the afternoon. Expect some flurries and light snow for the tail end of the drive home. The high -1°C, feeling closer to -9°C.

It will be windy tomorrow too. SW gusts 30-40+km/h which will cause some blowing snow in the evening, slowing down the drive home in some areas.

Thursday night: cloudy periods with a risk of flurries and very cold. The low -20°C feeling closer to -30°C with the wind chill.  It is very likely record low temperatures will be recorded tomorrow night in the northern sections of the GTA.
